Indoors at Hunterdon K9 Center, Flemington NJ Join us for an evening of teaching fun agility skills to dogs new to agility. This workshop is open to puppies and adult dogs who want to learn the important foundations for agility.
Topics covered will be attention games for agility to help build drive and focus to the handler, impulse control, contact training , handling skills on the ground, teaching correct jumping form and more. Ann will be using , food, toys and you as the motivation for your dog.
Ann has been training dogs for 20 years in obedience, rally and agility after a career in training horses. She is very patient and creative in her training methods which help a wide range of “traditional” and “non Traditional” agility breeds. Ann's agility career includes over 150 agility titles on various breeds including a Golden Retriever, a Flat coated Retriever , a Greyhound, a Swedish Valhund and 3 Border Collies. Ann’s most recent accomplishments include 2011 USDAA Northeast Regional Speed Jumping 4th place finalist. USDAA 2011 Cynosports World Games Performance Grand Prix Semi- finalist , Speed Jumping Semi- Finalist and Steeplechase Semi- finalist . The 2011 AKC Agility Invitational with the #2 Valhund in the USA. 2012 Mid Atlantic Regional Steeplechase and Grand prix finalist. 2012 USDAA Cynosports World Games Steeplechase Semi- finalist .
Cost: $60 for 3 hour workshop. Limited enrollment in each session
